OWEAR | Organic Cotton and Farming

OWEAR | Free Range Clothing

Owear was the first apparel made of certified organic cotton. Launched in 1991 in its own store at Fred Segal in Los Angeles, it was an immediate success, worn by stars like Tom Hanks, Robin Williams, Sting and Roseanne, to name just a few.

In three short years Owear received awards from the United Nations Environment Programme, Los Angeles Magazine, and Heal the Bay, Los Angeles’ premiere environmental organization, and was named #367 out of 442 in Women’s Wear Daily survey of brand identity.
